Top 6 Online Survey Sites to Make over $500/month (+1 BONUS site)

There are many different ways to earn money online nowadays. Even though surveys may not be the best way to earn lots of money, they are a legitimate way to earn an extra income.

Because of a large number of people seeking to use surveys to generate some extra money, a lot of scammy sites have popped out.

As a simple rule of thumb, if you ever come across a survey site requiring you to pay to join, leave that site quickly!

All the good survey sites are free to join, however, you need to know that depending on your profile you may or may not qualify for all the surveys.

In order to help you maximize your time by only participating in high-quality surveys that pay on time, I have compiled a list of the top 6 best survey sites to make money.

Below you have the list with a bonus site. If you want to learn more about each site, make sure to scroll down.

  1. InboxDollars
  2. SwagBucks
  3. Survey Junkie
  4. E-Poll
  5. PointClub
  6. Pinecone Research

1. InboxDollars

InboxDollars is one of the most popular GPT websites on the internet with Swagbucks. It has been around for almost 20 years and is better than ever.

The website always has a great signup bonus but also offers many different ways to its members to earn money for completing quick and easy tasks.

The surveys available are pretty easy to complete, once you find one you qualify for but they are definitely not the best way to maximize your earnings with InboxDollars.

2. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a GPT website that’s been around for 10 years now and it has paid over 100 million in rewards to its massive 15 million users database.

I personally like Swagbucks because it offers many different ways you can earn money from searching the internet through their search engine to complete surveys or even watch videos.

For each task you complete, you will earn some Swagbucks (100 SB = $1) that you will be able to convert to real cash when you meet the minimum threshold of 300 SBs for gift cards and 2,500 SBs for cash.

There are 2 ways to redeem on Swagbucks:

  • Through gift cards. Swagbucks has a very big choice of gift cards available, including all the big names such as Amazon, eBay and iTunes. The lowest amount of SB you need to redeem is 300 SBs while the maximum is capped at 50,000 SBs.
  • Through Paypal if you have at least 2,500 SBs.
  • You can donate your SBs to different charities.

Swagbucks is also currently offering a signup bonus of $10.

If you want to learn more about Swagbucks before joining, make sure to check my review article where I share my personal experience with the site and how to maximize your earnings.

3. Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is one of the higher-paying online rewards sites out there. With over 3 million active users it has established itself as one the most trusted survey site out there.

Even though Survey Junkie is a survey site, it strongly feels more like an aggregator. If you have ever used other aggregators, you will most likely see some familiar names such as  Ipsos,  i-Say, VIP Voice, etc.

For each survey completed you will earn some points that can be redeemed later in cash or e-gift cards.

The minimum cashout of $10 can be reached pretty easily after completing a few surveys.

4. E-Poll

E-Poll has been around since 1997 with the goal to help customers voice their opinions in fun, easy and interactive ways.

E-Poll offers a wide variety of surveys where you will earn valuable points, which are redeemable for gift cards, prizes and cash.

On top of regular surveys, you will have the opportunity to participate in video surveys where you will be required to watch short videos.

You can redeem the points earned for:

  • cash with Paypal
  • gift cards at Amazon, Best Buy, Starbucks, iTunes, Walmart, Sears and more

You can also participate in monthly sweepstakes to win $250 to beef up your earnings.

5. Point Club

Point Club is a newer site offering great perks such as a free $5 just for joining the site.

As other survey sites, you will earn points for participating in the wide range surveys available. On average you will earn $1 to $2 per survey completed with survey length time being around 10 minutes.

On top of surveys, Point Club also offers research opportunities that will earn you even more money.

To redeem your points, it is easy:

  • Pick a gift card amongst the 80 gift card options available. These include Amazon, Tango, Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Macy’s, Lowe’s, Sephora, Google Play, and many more.
  • Get paid by PayPal.

6. Pinecone Research

Pinecone Research is owned and operated by Nielsen, one of the most trusted market research company. Its mission is to improve the quality of tomorrow’s products by collecting international research.

Pinecone Research surveys are e-mailed directly to its members and are on a variety of different topics. The average survey length is between 15 and 20 minutes.

You can redeem your rewards via:

  • cash through Paypal, personal check or prepaid debit card
  • gift cards from Walmart, Amazon,iTunes, Home Depot
  • movie tickets

The site also offers bi-weekly sweepstakes to get a chance to win $500 which is pretty cool.

With the 6 websites above, you should be able to earn some decent money but all of them require a decent amount of your time to see any significant results.

That’s why I decided to add Shoptacker to the list as a bonus.

Please see below why I think it is a great site to be a member of.

If you have an active Amazon account and are willing to take 5 minutes to install an app on your phone or computer, Shoptracker can make you money.

The ultimate goal of Harris Poll’s ShopTracker is to make Amazon consumers shopping experience more interesting.

To do so, Harris Poll needs to gather as much data as possible from Amazon users to better understands trends and insights. By using the app and linking your Amazon purchase history you are helping companies to create a better shopping experience for the American Consumer.

For each month you keep the app on your device, you will earn $3 so it totals up to $39 per year including the $3 signup bonus.

Knowing that you can have 3 accounts per households, you can potentially make $117 per year for less than 10 minutes of work to set everything up.

If you want to learn more about Shoptracker and how it works, make sure to check out the review article I wrote below.

If you join the sites mentioned above, you’ll have the best chance to maximize how much money you can make completing surveys.

You will not get rich or replace your regular 9 to 5 job using online surveys, however, you can make a few hundred dollars per month when you pick the right sites.

You need to always remember that your time is valuable and to always start surveys with a good reward dollars per minutes spent on it.

You see, it is better to complete six 10 minutes surveys worth $5 each, instead of a 60 minutes surveys worth $30.

At first, the $30 might seem like a good one to complete but in reality, you will earn $5 more if you complete the 6 smaller surveys.

Now before I let you go, if you are interested in making more money than what you could using survey sites, I highly recommend you to check my article explaining how my two blogs make me more than $5000 a month using affiliate marketing.
